The Dulwich Players are coming to Bell House's beautiful gardens to put on Grimm Tales, in an exciting new promenade performance.
Before Roald Dahl there were the Brothers Grimm! And now there is an opportunity to rediscover the magic and wonder of the original Grimm Tales, retold by the master storyteller Philip Pullman.
The audience will be taken on both a fictional and actual journal, meeting along the way some familiar characters such as Rapunzel, and some surprising ones too, such as Hans-My-Hedgehog, Faithful Johannes and the remarkable Thousandfurs, each tale being full of delicious and unexpectedly dark twists and turns.
Performance times:
Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June at 8pm
Saturday 23rd June at 5pm and 8pm
Sunday 24th June at 2pm and 5pm
This will be a promenade performance through the gardens of Bell House. Some seating will be available to hire but audience are welcome to bring portable chairs and/or rugs. Sorry no dogs.
