Are you curious about what mindfulness involves and whether it is a practice that works for you? Join Bromley Mindfulness and Bell House for a four week Introduction to Mindfulness course, starting on Monday 11th February.
The course is designed to teach you the practical skills that will help you to benefit in your day-to-day life and support your personal development. The sessions are practical and applicable. Each session builds on the previous week but one-off sessions can also be attended. Each session will last one hour, followed by an optional half an hour for tea and coffee with Robert.
Course Overview
Week 1 (Feb. 11th). Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation - what is it, why would I want it and how do I get it?
Week 2 (Feb. 18th). Mindfulness, Meditation and Stress Management - Learn how to identify stress and learn techniques that will help you to intervene in your body’s naural fight/flight response to return to equilibrium
Week 3 (Feb. 25th). Mindfulness, Focus and Calmness - In this module, you will learn how to gain and retain clarity in an increasingly more overwhelming and confusing world
Week 4 (Mar. 4th). Mindfulness and Relaxation - We need to learn to relax. We all knew how to when we were children, but we unlearn it. Relaxation helps us become and stay calm, sleep better and cope with stress.
