Join Tracy from Happy Life for a half-day mental health first aid course designed to increase your mental health awareness and enhance understanding of how to look after wellbeing and challenge stigma. Particpants will receive MHFA Certficates for the completion of the half-day 'Mental Health Aware' training as well as training booklets for their reference.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
Define mental health and some mental health issues
Understand the factors that affect mental health
Identify the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues
Feel more confident starting a mental health conversation
Understand how to look after your own mental health
You do not need any prior knowledge to attend. This course is for anyone aged over 16 with an interest in mental health or wellbeing - whether that is for themselves or assisting friends, family or colleagues in the workplace or community.
About the speaker
Tracy is a mental health and wellbeing trainer, connector and consultant. Her business, Happy Life, offers a range of training, workshops, talks and 121 support focusing on mental health awareness, breaking down stigma and learning how to increase our wellbeing and resilience.
She has over 30 years’ experience supporting people with mental health issues, learning difficulties and drug and alcohol problems to lead engaged, meaningful lives.
