We will be looking at herds of animals in the wild and taking inspiration from them to create a large, colourful artwork. Participants will learn how to make stencils and print with them.

Each person will come away with their own unique piece and knowledge of this fun printing technique.

Nina Goodyer is an illustrator and artist from Brighton, who now lives in the big smoke! Her practise combines hand-drawing, digital elements and low-tech printing methods. The result is bright, textured illustrations that show cute critters and colourful characters. She has made illustrations for the Scouts, Scoop Magazine and Mantle Lane Press amongst others. She also runs creative workshops and craft activities in the local community.

Equipment list

-Acrylic Paints

-At least one sheet of A3 paper in any colour- thicker paper works best!

-A few sheets of a4 paper

-Paintbrushes - coarse paintbrushes such as hog hair brushes work best. Alternatively, you can use sponges.

-Water pot for brushes

-Plate or palette for paints

-Scissors or a craft knife (parents/carers are responsible for their children’s safety whilst using these tools)

-Coloured pencils
