We all have a story to tell – about our childhood, the place we live, our travels, the trials of parenthood and relationships.
Some of us have begun, others don’t know where to start, or aren’t convinced they can write - then find they can! The day is for those anywhere on this spectrum. It will offer ways to get ideas flowing, to reflect on details we may have forgotten, plus time to write with no distractions. A chance to finally get pen to paper - literally!
This workshop is open for beginners to creative writing, or those who have been to one of Maggie's workshops before. Every workshop is slightly different, so do feel welcome to return. It's the freedom to write in peace and to meet other writers that tempts people to return. Bell House is making a brief film for You Tube, suggesting the important points in writing any kind of memoir. For part of the afternoon participants will have an opportunity to take part in the filming - but this is your choice.
