This will be a session on how to make the most of your university experience.

Drawing from his personal experiences, James, Student Ambassador at UCL, will be leading a session on maximising the university experience. Through reflecting on the challenges he faced when moving to university, he will be giving advice on concerns such as finding a study and social life balance as well as exploring the opportunities available to participate in the university community.

About the speaker

James Serieux is a Second Year History Student at University College London. Previously elected as Student Ambassador, James has been involved with the university in providing active support to university events, higher education fairs as well as conducting community outreach to local secondary schools as part of the university Access and Widening Participation initiative. Having worked closely with young people in the past, James is an experienced communicator and is further involved in his local council, engaging in roles such as Streetbase Team Lead and Youth Mental Health Ambassador.
