In November the V&A will be opening Fabergé in London: Romance to Revolution, the first major exhibition telling the story of the legendary Russian goldsmith, Carl Fabergé’s little-known London branch and its importance in establishing the international prominence of his firm. About the speaker:
Hanne Faurby is the Project and Co-Curator of Fabergé in London – Romance to Revolution and co-editor of the accompanying publication. She has worked across the V&A’s Metalwork, Textiles, Fashion, Ceramic & Glass collections, and has published and lectured on jewelry and embroidery by Arts and Crafts designer May Morris. Most recently she has contributed to the ‘V&A Book of Colour in Design’.
