Free weekly drop-in group for mothers and babies
Wendy and Sonia would love you to join their Mothers and Babies’ Group to be held on Tuesday mornings from September 21st for 10 sessions. The group is open to anyone with a baby who would like to escape from the house once week and join a group with other people in similar situations. We know it may not be possible to come to every session and this is understandable so feel free come as and when you like.
Obviously, you may bring your baby who may cry, sleep, demand attention as babies do, and we can accommodate all of that!
The group will run weekly sessions depending on what you the participants want. We will talk about this during the first session over coffee.
Ten sessions on Tuesday mornings 10.00-12.30, starting September 21st.
Session One - Tuesday 21st September 10am-12.30pm

HALF TERM

We look forward meeting you and your baby. This is a free group and attendance at each session is not compulsory!
Sonia Hancock is a relationship counsellor, who has worked primarily in the voluntary sector. She joined the chaplaincy team at HMS Brixton and counselled there for many years. She is a hands-on granny to eight grandchildren!
Wendy French is a therapist and is currently running groups for patients with cancer and their carers at the Macmillan Centre UCH and Maggie’s Centre, The Royal Marsden Hospital. Like Sonia she has eight grandchildren but they are older and so their needs are different from the needs of Sonia’s grandchildren!
