Tea, coffee and cake in the Bell House gardens
Come and enjoy a drink and a slice of cake in the peaceful two-acre garden set behind the Grade II Georgian Manor House built in 1767, and now the home of Bell House Dulwich, a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds.
The walled garden comprises raised beds filled with kitchen essentials grown organically, a greenhouse, vines, fruit trees and a newly created dipping pond. The house garden features a rose garden, a bog garden and pond, and a woodland walk designed to attract wildlife and provide safe habitats.
The gardens are maintained by a team of volunteers, who promote gardening as an activity for physical and mental well-being.
Kingfishers is a charity supporting the children’s units at King’s College Hospital.
Tickets are £10 in aid of Kingfishers and Bell House and includes tea or coffee and homemade cake.
