For the ‘Poetic Map of Reading’, Southwark Libraries sought new poems from established and new writers inspired by the joys and challenges of reading. The call for submissions, which featured a creative prompt by award-winning poet Jenny Mitchell, attracted new work from around the world. At this special live event we will be celebrating the many facets of reading explored in these poems, with the writers themselves sharing their work. Refreshments will be provided.
