2-hour Taster session for 13-17s - Throwing on the Wheel

Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel:

This 2-hour workshop is for teenagers who would like to have a first go at throwing on the wheel.
You will try your hand at centering clay on the wheel and throwing a small cylinder.
At the end of the session, you can pick your favourite pot which will be glazed and fired for you.
The cost of all materials and firing are included in your course fee.
This session is intended for 13-17s. Adult only classes are available here.

Cost is £50 per person.

Age group

Two half price concession tickets are available for each course for those whose financial circumstances mean they would not otherwise be able to attend.

No refunds are available. However if you cannot attend a Taster Class for any reason:

if you give us eight- or more- days’ notice we can either reschedule or send you a code to rebook for a different Taster Class.
If you give seven days’ notice or less, we cannot reschedule. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask or pressurise our staff.
In the latter scenario where you give seven days’ notice or less that you cannot attend, your booked place remains yours to give to a friend or family member to attend instead of you. In which case please let us know who is coming in your place.
